I had the amazing opportunity to participate in a travel abroad research program "Gear Up" in which my research site was located in Abu Dhabi. There were 4 of us who worked with our mentor Dr. Bobby Matthew who tasked us with creating a matlab code to develop a solution for using microfluidics to help detect cardiovascular disease.
